You are drowning yourself by overthinking everything. The next time you find yourself overthinking or beating yourself over something, picture something simple and put no thought into it. Look at the trees moving in the wind or take a moment to look at how beautiful this world is. This world is too beautiful for you to waste your time in unecessary thoughts that are just drowning you.

things don’t have to be perfect to be good
Wild things I have learnt in therapy:
- When a child cries, parents are supposed to comfort them, not punish them
- Parents are, in fact, supposed to want to spend time with their children
- Children too have a right to privacy, meaning parents are not allowed to read their diaries etc and then punish them for the thoughts they found about
- Children are allowed to be upset and cry
- Children don’t have to earn the love and attention from their parents by performing various things
- Children are not supposed to be scared of going home and/or their parents
- Children are not supposed to be physically abused and even a little bit of hitting is actually physical abuse
- Parents are not supposed to expect that children are mentally as mature as other adults
- Children are not supposed to be told that they’re an accident, a burden, or something the parents regret
- Children are not supposed to be scared and ashamed of themselves or feel like failures because of their parents
“nothing is real atoms never touch each other youve never touched anything in your life” ok. well when i pet my dog he is soft and when he licks my hand it is wet and that is far more real to me than whatevers going on at an atomic level
what my atoms are doing is their fucking business man i’m busy trying to stop my dog from eating tissues directly out of the box
His name Egg 🤧

All about rodenticides! Bird Friendly London (www.birdfriendlylondon.ca) hired me to make this comic with a grant from Nature Canada. Rodenticides are harming my local raptors so it’s an issue that’s close to my heart.
I feel like what this infographic is missing (though I wholeheartedly agree with the message of course) is the fact that rodents are wildlife too! The thing about poisons and traps is that they don’t discriminate between native rodents and invasive rodents, and more often than not I see people in my area catching native pinyon mice, woodrats, or even chipmunks. If you would humor me, look up some of the native rodents in your area! You might be surprised at how many there are. After bats, rodents are the most diverse mammal group on the planet. ♥️

“Mrs R” was the pseudonym of Phyllis Shafer, a Kansas City local who helped found the Phoenix Society for Individual Freedom in 1966, a full three years before Stonewall. Throughout the 1960s and 1970s, she and her son Drew operated the Phoenix House, a safe haven for queer people in the city, and a hub of national queer activism. Drew passed away due to AIDS related complications in the 1980s, and his lover, Mickey Ray, spent the rest of his life fighting to keep his memory alive, largely contributing to the creation of the Gay and Lesbian Archive of Mid-America.
This is Colors, a short comic written by @monsieurtoast and illustrated by myself, about the influence we have on others around us. I had sooooo much fun working on this and I owe it all to Toast for coming up with such a creative concept! Take care of your colors my guys ♥
I’ve been working on this with Lalou for a while now, and I’m happy to say it’s finally complete! I’ve mostly kept quiet about it here until it was finished, but, with any luck, this is just the first of many, many comics to come.
It was an interesting experience writing for a comic, trying to keep the art and the constraints of panels in mind, and also my first stab at it, but I’m pretty happy with how it all turned out. Lalou did an incredible job bringing everything to life!
I hope you all enjoyed reading this as much as I enjoyed working on it, if not more!
I think this is an incredibly important video to watch
